Coffee was good. Staff is friendly. Ambiente has the flair of an Italian iced coffee. Very nice view of the market!

The friendliness and the nice service is the alpha and omega of a restaurant. There is neither the Alpha nor the O in this shop. I am so outraged by the cheeky and annoyed dealings that I have to give this rating while sitting here. There is no bread with scrambled eggs, one looks puzzled when asked about it. Panini is a squashed bun, you have to ask for a fork for the salad. What is the owner doing here, is this recession being read at all?

I'm here every time I'm in Weimar. The coffee is great, the ice cream tastes good and the ice cream sundaes are full and delicious, the cake always tasted good. The waitresses have always been friendly. Certainly it sometimes takes until a table is cleared or the waitress notices you, but if you answer in a friendly manner it is not a problem for the staff. I can't understand the extremely negative reviews here, you should probably bring a little time and be friendly and not annoyed yourself.

unbelievably bad . sat for half an hour until our order was taken. another half hour later the hot drinks came. anything but hot. the staff is incredibly slow and incapable. there is a nice invention called a tray. but here everything is brought out individually every 5 minutes. after more than 2 hours and still no food we left. would have loved to give no star at all If you don't know where to go on Sunday and have endless time and patience, you can go here, otherwise not recommended. then went to eat fried sausage

Tried breakfast here twice. Were deliberately ignored every time. It was better to clear some other table or put up umbrellas somewhere than to come to our table. Never again!!!

Visited Weimar today and came across this beautiful cafe on the market square. The service was very nice and polite. Ice cream came quickly and tasted very good. Just like the coffee. Overall, the waitresses were very on their toes, considering what they were doing, among other things. have to walk on beautiful days like today. So we cannot understand some of the reviews at all.

Underground. Our questions were ignored several times by the waitress. As she passed by, she threw paper, pen and menu on the table, shouted "Nä ?!" closed and was gone again. We then left again.

Didn't even get to order anything. Service is just not interested and moves slower than my grandma. After a while we just stood up and walked away since they didnt even aknowledge our existence.

Sorry but the service didn't work. the table wasn't cleared. We had to wait 40 minutes for our breakfast. The waitresses dropped things on us and didn't even apologize. Generally the waitresses didn't communicate with us, when they did communicate it was very rude. The portions were small and overpriced.

Very central location, order came very quickly. Ice cream and crepes were ok but had better ones.

The ice cream was good, but in the times of Corona, the hygiene regulations were absolutely absent. Our ice cream was simply placed on a table glued with crumbs and sugar. Absolutely not to be recommended!

We were there for breakfast. The fruit salad was unfortunately anything but fresh, the croissant was not baked through and the (actually liquid) honey was quite old and therefore crystallized. Remaining food was okay. Service nice and friendly.

A nice cafe right on the market. Certainly some orders take a while. But understandable with a large crowd. You should also bring some time with you. Otherwise I can not complain. Eating and drinking tastes good.

Espresso was OK, but cappuccino was bad. Waiters should go to a barista training. Overall, for Germany it was quite good.

Crowded, tight, tiny tables. coffee was awful, waiters were slow
